Changelog

2.1.1 - February 12, 2026

  • Upgraded frame-rate conversion to use math-based motion interpolation instead of simple frame duplication when increasing FPS.
  • Added increase-only behavior for frame synthesis: FPS decreases now downsample frames without interpolation artifacts.
  • Applied the improved FPS logic to preset and custom frame-rate selections for consistent output behavior.

2.1.0 - February 9, 2026

  • Added internal FFmpeg automated test runner at /internal/ffmpeg-option-tests for one-click option + matrix coverage.
  • Centralized command generation so production conversions and test harnesses run from the same FFmpeg command builder.
  • Added fixture-manifest workflow and one-command FFmpeg test UI launcher for repeatable local validation.
  • Improved visual before/after verification with synced playback controls and safer preview fallback handling.
  • Hardened FFmpeg runtime recovery and added regression guards for known aspect-ratio failures, including 21:9 behavior.

2.0.1 - April 6, 2025

  • Fixed a mobile display issue where FAQ, Changelog, About, Legal, and Contact links were not visible.
  • Ensured the "Made By" footer is also visible on mobile devices.
  • Corrected outdated text on several pages that still referenced audio conversion. This was a leftover from when the site transitioned from Audio Converter Hub to The Video Converter Hub.
  • Removed all ad placeholder elements. These were originally added to help cover the site’s domain and development time, but have been removed for now as the site is using a free domain.

2.0.0 - March 31, 2025

  • Complete overhaul of the user interface.
  • Introduced new video conversion commands and features.
  • Significantly improved the site codebase to support faster and more frequent updates.
  • Major update to command structure: enhanced existing tools and added entirely new functionality.

1.0.0 - April 10, 2024

  • Initial release of TheVideoConverterHub.com.
